Shahid Kapoor Bares His Heart Out About His First Meeting With Wife Mira & It's Super Romantic!
The story of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput is no less than a Bollywood screenplay. They met through parents. They fell in love and got married. And now they are expecting their first child. As the B-town's favourite couple is set to complete one year of marital bliss, actor Shahid Kapoor opened his heart out about a lot of things he hasn't spoken about till date. What struck our interest in the way he explained his first meeting with Mira.
In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, he spoke the cutest stuff about his "baby wife" Mira.
"I'm still falling in love with her….a bit more every day. The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends' farmhouse in Delhi. We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her."
Now imagine Shahid speaking the following lines, with that shy dimpled smile and a boyish charm!
"I realised her eyes were not dark. They had a hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, “What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam!"
Isn't that the cutest thing you read today? After all, we all had exactly this reaction when the news broke out last year that Shahid was set to marry a girl who was 14 years younger to him!
Some days back we told you how Mira had put a condition in front of Shahid before agreeing for the marriage. She had asked him to get over his coloured hair, because back then, Shahid was in the character of his latest film Udta Punjab.
Now, all eyes are set on Shahid's Tommy Singh avatar in Udta Punjab which has just come out of a massive fight against the CBFC. But taking time off from promoting the film, the actor is also gearing up for the new role in his life, that of being a father.
Shahid-Mira are not just picture perfect, give us relationship, marriage, and best couple goals too, but now they are also the most adorable parents in the making!
