Wome Opts For Bundelsiga Experience

Inter boss Roberto Mancini has set his sights on Roma midfielder Amantino Mancini, according to reports.
The tactician抯 favoured 4-4-2 system has suffered from the lack of a regular first-choice winger on the right, with several players taking the role under Mancio抯 tenure.
It抯 claimed in the Italian media today that the Brazilian is the key to making this approach work and he is top of their transfer wish-list.
This has been Amantino Mancini抯 most prolific campaign to date with 12 Serie A goals, playing on the right, left and even as a striker at times, almost enough to earn him a spot in the 2006 World Cup squad.
The newspaper reports suggest that Roma would be willing to part with the former Venezia player for a cash sum plus David Pizarro and Santiago Solari.
Chilean midfielder Pizarro is a prime target for Roma, as he would reunite with ex-Udinese Coach Luciano Spalletti, while former Real Madrid man Solari is set to leave San Siro following a disappointing season. (Solari tak banyak digunakan Mancini)
If Pizarro does move on, then his replacement would be either Palermo抯 Italian international Simone Barone or Argentine Sergio Almiron of Empoli.
Inter are working hard to improve their team in the wide positions, having already secured the arrival of Maxwell from Ajax and Monaco抯 Brazilian starlet Maicon.
In other transfer news, Lazio are said to be tracking two promising 20-year-olds: Colombian goalkeeper Arena and Belgian defender Tom Raes. |
