Sumire Iwaya (Noriko Iriyama) works as an editor for a well known newspaper. She is attractive and graduated from a prestigious university.
She goes through a difficult period after being dumped by her boyfriend and getting demoted at work. One day, she picks up a beautiful young man, Takeshi Goda (Jun Shison), out of a box. Takeshi looks like her former pet Momo and Sumire offers to let Takeshi live in her home as her pet.
Based on Yayaoi Ogawa's Japanese manga "Kimi wa Pet" serialized from 2000 to 2005. The comic won the 2003 Kodanisha Manga Award.
Popular actress Maki Horikita has decided to retire from the entertainment industry effective immediately.
In a statement released by her agency on March 1, Horikita announced her sudden departure from the entertainment industry.
"I have decided to leave my career that I’ve had so far. As a mother, I am living a very blessed life with my beloved family. I would like to protect this irreplaceable happiness with all of my strength, Horikita wrote.
The actress thanked her fans for all of their support throughout her career.
"Thank you very much to all of my fans who have supported me and to everyone who has been involved in my life these past 14 years," Horikita said.
Horikita is best known for her roles in popular dramas such as "Nobuta wo Produce" and
"Hanazakari no Kimitachi e". She is married to actor Koji Yamamoto. The two have a child together who was born in December of 2015.

Naoki Hanzawa (Masato Sakai) works as a loan manager at the Osaka Nishi branch of Tokyo Central Bank. One day, Naoki makes a loan contract for 500 million yen with Nishi Osaka Steel Company. Naoki didn't want to approve the loan, but he had to due to the branch manager's order. Nishi Osaka Steel Company seems financially stable, but the company actually hides massive amounts of debt through fraudulent accounts. The company is caught. Three months later, Nishi Osaka Steel Company goes bankrupt.
The bank's branch manager is Asano. He is an ambitious man and tries to shift the blame to Naoki. Naoki then attends an inquiry about the loan failure at the bank's headquarters in Tokyo. Naoki denies fault and promises to retrieve the 500 million yen loan. He did this because it's the only way for Naoki to survive as a banker.
