I totally feel you and yes, they do practise different sort of body language but not as much as us the oriental melayu. If they have something in their minds, they say it takde kona lipat baring hint hint.. GENERALLY speaking.
Being raised as a Malay, of course I would be acting like Malays most of the time. SO, MERAJUK tu, is part of what happens in a relationship.. HAMPEHH my ex-bf didn't know what that was. SO, it was a bit awkward at first when I went majuk and he didn't realise it that I had to come out of the closet (sort of) and tell him loud and clear of what I want... Then, baru la dia tau and take proper actions.. *sighs... padan muka aku..
Ok the german expat. I think to some extent, europeans are not as conservative as the Americans. But all the while I am talking with him, I think he is a bit different. Here is an example of direct and indirect conversation.. pandai2 ler teka. Compare expat n banker..
Expat : That shirt looks uncomfortable on you. Doesn't it make you feel hot?
Banker : Let me see your boobs.
Expat : I would love to have you
Banker : Convert to Christianity and marry me
Expat : ... yeah... we should try.. I mean, with words
Banker : I think we should have sex
Expat : Dear, my eyes are getting smaller...
Banker : I am gonna go to bed now
wakakakka.. |

Kengkadang tu rasa cam nak ketuk jer ngan selipar these kids.
Lepas midterm or lepas dapat finalised grades baru le terhegeh2 carik lecturer crying for help.
Like last tuesday, a student called me up merayu2 mintak tolong up kan grade dia. He was saying that all lecturers of his other subjects weren't helping and stuff. And I gave him B- heheheh..
I told him, I have no power over it now that it's finalised. What he can do is have is papers re-reviewed. Haiyaa troublesome sungguh... |
