As for me, I'm glad I drove at NZ ... tapi up to u laa. I drove from Christchurch-Fairlie then overnight kat situ. Next day baru drive from Fairlie-Lake Tekapo-Mount Cook-Queenstown...Overnight kat Queenstown.. Then terus ke Te Anau. Overnight kat te Anau, next morning to Milford Sound. Pastu ke Dunedin ... Milford Sound ke Dunedin jauh sket ... about 4 hours drive ... overnight Dunedin ... Next morning Dunedin to Christchurch .... Almost 7 hours drive +1.5 hours nak cari motel (My mistake actually sebab book motel kat Colombo Street-it somehow linked to Cathedral Square!) .... And the worst part it, the other Colombo Street ada banyak sangat attractions, including DF Souvenirs, Restoran halal, Haka Dance ... Since u have a small baby, perhaps it's a good idea to take connecting flight to Queenstown ... then you have only 1 route to drive from Queenstown- Christchurch .... tapi I'm sure more will give their ideas on this!
Hope I will come back to NZ really soon ... tapi i really hope to go to either Spain or Hungary dulu  |

salam, i'm planning a really short trip to south nz. so, as i'm browsing for packages, i jumpa itinerary ni. so nak tanya, is it possible to visit all this place in the given time?
Day 1
ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Upon arrival at Christchurch International Airport, you will be met by our representative before being transferred to your hotel.
After check in, free at own leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2
CHRISTCHURCH – MT. COOK – QUEENSTOWN (B)
After breakfast, depart from Christchurch across the broad expanse of the Canterbury Plains with the snow capped peaks of the Southern Alps to the west. Enter the foothills near Geraldine and ascend Burkes Pass into the barren Mackenzie Country.
View the Church of the Good Shepherd, dedicated to the early pioneers of the region and the Collie Dog Memorial overlooking the milky blue waters of Lake Tekapo. The world famous Church of the Good Shepherd offers awe-inspiring views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps through its altar window.
Next, proceed on a journey into the Mt Cook National Park. A stop at the Mt Cook Alpine Village allows time for you to enjoy the scenic majesty of New Zealand's highest snow capped peaks before travelling to Queenstown.
On arrival check into hotel and free at own leisure for the rest of the day.
Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 3
QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND – QUEENSTOWN (B)
Your departure from Queenstown trancends you to an unforgettable journey into the heart of Milford Sound, one of the most iconic destinations in NZ, and for good reason.
You'll then proceed to the stunning Mirror Lakes, a great place to stop off and spend exploring and photographing, before passing through the Eglinton Valley, to Homer Tunnel, emerging above the Cleddau Valley.
At the deep waters of Milford Sound, board your cruise, where you'll experience the world famous fiord - rich in dense rainforest, glacier carved valleys and beautiful waterfalls.
Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 4
QUEENSTOWN – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
After breakfast, proceed back to Christchurch.
After that, free at own leisure for the rest of the day until transfer to Airport for your international flight back home. |

yup ... memang 5 jam ... yang jadikannya dekat 7 jam tu, sampai christchurch nak ke motel .... dekat 1 setengah jam jugak laa ... motel saya duduk kat Colombo Street (bukan yang ada DF Souvenir, tapi sebelah satu lagi) ... GPS asyik read jalan yang sama... kena masuk Gloucester Street via Worcester Street yang betul2 sebelah Cathedral Square .... 1st time polis tahan tapi dia cuma bagitau yang kitorang kene ambik jalan yang jauh sket untuk sampai ke Colombo Street.. pastu second time sampai jugak kat polis tu, dia suruh cari Kilmore Street. Pastu bila type kat GPS tunjuk jalan yang sama jugak... pastu tanya ada cyclist ni, dia suruh ikut Moorhouse Avenue, tapi dia tak sure betul ke tak... so we all pun tutup GPS... ntah macam mana leh keluar jalan besar... kat area2 park tu... pastu on balik GPS ... cari colombo street, akhirnya jumpa.... quite stessfull jugak laa ... sampai terpaksa qada' zuhur+asar sebab masa sampai motel tu dah abis waktu asar ... |

Kalu nak beli souvenior yg murah....beli kat kedai cina kat Te Anau...mmg murah...kalah kedai cina kat Quenstown...
Heli flight ke Glacier pun best...mmg berbaloi...ada snow landing...
FYI, setkat ni...jalan semua OK...tarak yg tutup...
Pada yg nak pi tu...selamat berholiday...and drive safely... |
