Maybe when people stop worshipping gods who work in threats and death, humans will stop working in threats and death.

To worship a bully is to glorify bullies and bullying.

Gods who threaten us have assaulted us and teach us to threaten and assault.

Violent and angry gods foster violence and angry worshippers.

If the worship of a god has led you to hate your fellow man, what kind of creature is it that you worship?

If your God is powerful, why would it need anything from you?

The difference between false religion and true religion is in practice and daily lifestyle of EACH followers, not in the religion itself.

Take Hinduism VS Islam for example.

When British came to India and invaded it, British (and other westerners) assume that Hinduism is a violent religion due to the portrayal of its gods and goddess, but what did Hinduism produced? People like Mahatma Gandhi. Even people like Subash Chandra Bose had taken the fight to the British in field of battle and not on British civilians.

Islam on the other hand kept claiming to be religion of Peace and yet, no where in history did Muhammad ever lived in peace nor did he choose a peaceful solution to anything. YES, he did agreed to Hubaidayah treaty (due to his disadvantaged position) and later, he RAN away from renewing his peace treaty when he has stronger army.

This is what I have been saying all this time - following a certain religion WILL NOT make you a better person or worse person. That is your own nature but certain religion DOES increase or decrease your good or bad nature.

It is Man who choose to form "contract" with God, not the other way around. God does not require Man's assistance to make the World spin, raise or set the Sun or make the Moon rise. Gravity is sufficient enough. Matter a fact, the whole World and the Universe is fine-tuned into a perfect machine that does not require any feedback from any sentient beings within it or its Creator.

IF ANY "god" requires something from you, take note that that "god" is a false "god".
