KUALA LUMPUR: An increased police presence in front of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has caused a media frenzy. Dozens of media practitioners have arrived here after police cars and a Black Maria arrived at his Jalan Duta residence at around 10.15pm. The police arrived after he returned from prayers at the Kampung Baru mosque. Deputy OCPD Supt Mohamed Rafiq Mohamed Mustafa, when leaving the premises only told the media to "wait and see."
The build-up of media personnel and members of the public has lead to traffic slowing to a crawl in the area. Tens of police personnel - including senior Bukit Aman officers - were seen at Najib's condominium at the Pavilion Residence Apartment KL on Wednesday night.
