A massive 95% of the world’s oceans have yet to be explored. Hidden in the depths of the oceans are some very strange and exotic sea creatures, many of which seem to defy all logic. Here are some of the strangest sea creatures ever discovered.

Axolotl is an amphibian and most commonly found in special lake in Mexico . Its are unusual among amphibians in that they reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of developing lungs and taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled. This creature are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate limbs. Axolotl is near to extinction due to increase in pollution in Mexico City and is considered as the one of the endangered species in the world.
