obviously they lived before jesus came in the form of man [according to your belief] but it also stated in your bible that abraham had three wives, david had eight wives , jacob had four and moses had two wives that means in your bible those prophets before muhammad also practised polygamy otherwise why there is a verse mentioning all those wives of these prophets in your bible? if you think that muhammad just need the pleasure ..what do you think about those prophets? :bgrin:

have u read your bible? I know there's no muhammad or any story about him in your bible but nowadays the unbelievers like to read and explore the content of al-quran and the life of muhammad in order to potray him as a bad person when talking about polygamy while the fact that other prophets before him also practised the same and their stories stated in the bible! If your god doesnt authorise polygamy why mentioning about those prophets and their many wives? |

since you guys brought this topic regarding polygamy ...dont you get confuse with the verse in your bible? one verse says no polygamy, another approved:cak:
according to Matt 19:4&5
"a man and a woman become ONE"
but another verse by Deuteronomy 21
"If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children.
I can get even confused...which to my understanding that your bible doesnt provide you enough evidence to show your god doesnt authorise polygamy as what u've claimed!

this verse seems to be hanging and leave us clueless. I've mentioned earlier this verse can be misinterpreted by those transvetites. Maybe this verse can be used by the gay rights as their slogan in order to fight for justice. . No wonder sonny claims the bible promote gay. :cak:
