HAMAS definitely would. Why?
First, Hamas has agreed to RECOGNISE Israel, should the condition for peace set up by HAMAS is met by Israel.
Secondly, HAMAS has proven to be a better champion of the Palestinians compared to the fatah movement, in which we can see that palestinians generally supported Hamas, compared to Fatah.
As HAMAS enjoys popularity among the Palestinians, how strong the pressure by Israel, Hamas would survive. The stronger the Israel hit on the Palestinians, the stronger Hamas would grow. |
