Tom Clancy -

Thomas Leo Clancy Jr. (born April 12, 1947), better known as Tom Clancy,
is a US author of bestselling political thrillers, best known for his technically
detailed espionage and military science storylines set during and in the aftermath
of the Cold War. His name is also a brand for similar books written by ghost writers
and a series of non-fiction books on warlike subjects and merged biographies of key
leaders. He is also part-owner of the Baltimore Orioles, a Major League Baseball team.
He officially is the Orioles' Vice Chairman of Community Activities and Public Affairs.

i wanna share novels by tom clancy lama dah... tapi tak tertulis2..

i've read most of his books.. (i might missed one or two)  -
been reading clancy (along with archer, crichton, sanders, sheldon
brown, baldacci  - since my college years... and indeed.. his novels.. will be
one of my top choices...

he is an american thriller writer.. and most of his novels -- political thriller and techno- thriller-
fascinating.. great writing... i assure you.. once you read clancy and you love
the likes or archer   baldacci... you won't regret clancy's books...

in fact, some of his books were made movies - such as -
the hunt for red october (alec baldwin and sean connery)
great book  good movie too... first book he introduced my favourite character
jack ryan... alec jadi jack..  pastu  role tu dapat pada harrison ford ..
best!!  buku lain yang jadi movie  -  jack ryan's series:
patriot games, present and clear danger...  then  role tu diberi pada
ben afflect untuk movie to sum of all fears....

movies tu best..... tapi buku2 dia lagi  interesting.. memang tak akan letak
kalau start baca....

but his books NetForce - few series i missed.. still i  read most of the series though -

if i am not mistaken clancy's  Op-Center - memang ada tv series - ada tengok dulu masa kat
canada..  it didnt show more series on TV but the books continue with few series -

i am waiting for WITHOUT REMORSE movie  this year i think... i will check that out when..
and then another 2 years - rainbow six will follow... both are great books! -

last i read his book - the teeth of the tiger - introduces jack's son and (jack ryan's jr)
- with that i know no more jack ryan  - but it was a great character nevertheless

among his novels that i've read.. quite lots actually... i will try to remember some -

my favourite of clancy of all time - and i read most of this below:

red storm rising (no jack ryan in this book - great book though)

without remorse ( BEST!!! )

red rabbit
the teeth of the tiger (introduced jack ryan jr..) great book -

etc etc..

and lots of his series books... too many to list...
can go to book store and get them ..


for those who love political thriller.. i urge you to read clancy..
and i bet you gonna love his books...   a great writer of all time

I have read  Red Storm Rising and The Hunt of Red October when they were  first released many years ago. Very techical and you have to be a military freak to understand the various gobbledegooks. Both books were written during the tail end of the cold war and I suspect, until today, they were written to boost the sagging American military moral due to humilation of the Vietnam war.

great plot.. just awesome books!!--


i am ordering Battle Ready  and can't wait to read it..
but this is kinda... interesting no doubt -
whereby - the plot - criticism about
iraq war after saddam...  

yang ni dia collaborate dengan marine general -
anthony zinni... so i think it would be a hoot -
(btw it is a  nonfiction.. and saya nak sangat
baca tentang real things happened in iraq
back then -)

i sometimes read Tom Clancy's novels before, but only when i've got nothing, and i really mean nothing to read.

I don't fancy reading anything bout politics, goverment involvement and the likes generally. that's just my preference
