Alright, time to get this discussion back into the road.

The keyword here is :
Deists generally reject the notion of supernatural revelation as a basis of truth or religious dogma.
This means that, Deists will have to reject "revelations" given to them by religious figures (through holy books) and derive their own conclusion. Individuals could still provide further "revelations" through their own analysis of the belief, but this new "revelations" could only be subjected to more research and analyse before been accepted.
Which also means that, overtime, religious dogma and beliefs will be constantly analysed and questioned like never before. And with modern technology and the Internet, the research, analyse and the findings will be spread across the globe like it was never before.
In a way, this could become an ultimate test of religions. For the past 2,000 years, maybe new religions have cropped up andtaken the centre stage. Many have caused great suffering, unneccessary wars and conflicts and such even today.
I believe that in the future, we will know whether a religion comes trully from God or just man-made by constantly analysing and questioning its belief. That which comes from God WILL witstand the test of Modernized humans. |

Tuhan itu terlalu mulia untuk turun ke bumi dan menjelma menjadi haiwan.
Hmph ... Manusia pun haiwan juga - yang menbezakan manusia dgn haiwan adalah kegunaan akal shj. Manusia lebih pandai jika dibandingkan dgn haiwan. Akan tetapi, manusia pun haiwan juga.
Mengatakan yg "tuhan kau" (bukan Tuhan ku) lebih mulia utk menjadi haiwan adalah spt mengatakan tuhan kau pun tak akan menjadi manusia juga. Bagi ku, tuhan yg "terlalu mulia" macam ini tak berguna utk apa2 pun.
Manusia biasa pun akan naik marah jika di sama kan dgn binatang.
Sptmana aku sudah katakan, manusia pun adalah sejenis "haiwan" juga. Yg bezakan antara manusia dan haiwan hanyalah pengunaan akal mereka.
Mengatakan "manusia" akan marah jiga disamakan dgn haiwan menunjjukan keegoan dan keangguhan kamu dilahirkan sbg manusia. |

Hmph ... What Muslims do not realized is that by their Allah, they actually insulting themselves as human being. Their Allah does not respect them as beings of intelligence and capable of greatness.
Jewish beliefs and Christian beliefs states that "Man is made in image of God"; Hindusm went one step forward and described God in form of Man. Buddhism described how Man is capable of self-dependance by his own actions.
All this beliefs shows that Man are a "unique" being, created by God and have ability from Greatness. These I believe.
But in Islam, their Allah regards humans as a lowly "animals" which it is not willing to take form of, not interacts with humans as being of intelligence and compassion.
I don't know about you guys, but I will take ANY religions EXCEPT Islam any day as my own. |

so, if God =(in the form of) man
and Man = animals + intellect
hence, God = man = animal
God = Animal... ???
Na'uzubillah...
what Seph didn't realize is that he has just degraded God to a lesser being of ANIMAL!

This thread have failed its purpose of discussing about Deism due to "certain religious followers". Entertaining the posts here are a waste of time. I suggest to non-Muslims to leave and go elsewhere where our time could be well spent. |
