Zechariah was a person in the Hebrew Bible (Jewish Tanakh and Christian Old Testament). He was the author of the Book of Zechariah, the eleventh of the twelve minor prophets.
The name Zechariah is derived from Hebrew: [size=125%]זְכַרְיָה, Standard Zəḫarya Tiberian Zəḵaryāh ; " YHWH has remembered". It is a theophoric name, the ending -iah being a short Hebrew form for the Tetragrammaton.
He was a prophet of the two-tribe kingdom of Judah, and like Ezekiel was of priestly extraction. He describes himself (Zechariah 1:1) as "the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo." In Ezra 5:1 and 6:14 he is called "the son of Iddo," who was properly his grandfather. His prophetical career began in the second year of Darius, king of Persia (B.C. 520), about sixteen years after the return of the first company from their Babylonian exile. He was contemporary with Haggai (Ezra 5:1).
In the New Testament Gospel of Matthew,[1] Jesusis quoted as stating that Zechariah son of Barachiah was killed betweenthe altar and the temple. A similar quotation is also found in theGospel of Luke[2]. Although there is an indication in Targum Lamentations that "Zechariah son of Iddo" was killed in the Temple,[3] scholars generally understand this as a reference to the death of a much earlier figure, Zechariah ben Jehoiada.[4]

He was not murdered. Debmey, please.....if you continue reading and make other people's judgement as your own judgement, that would make no sense. what? you don't have your own reasonings to perceive things? In relation to my 36 post, what if prophet said no to Izrael, and FYI, I am sure that prophet could have prayed to Allah so that he could live longer and make Allah healed him....

but Prophet chose to see Allah SWT rather than to continue his life. Right debmey?? It's all in the link you gave me.

and people like you keep saying that the lamb does not speak to Prophet (to imply that Muhammmad is not a Prophet). If he is not a Prophet, I dare to say, he will die right away, owing to chewing and swallowing the meat.

All prophets in the Bible knew of their deaths and predicted it in advance.
Muhamad was very different.
He could not had been a prophet.

If you claimed Muhammad is not a prophet,
...then, prove it to the people here that John 16:12-14 is not fitted for prophet Muhammad.

If the 'many things' was written in the bible, please show it.

Indeed the name 'Muhammad' was never mentioned in the bible..

If...if John 16 did not fitted to prophet Muhammad,
...then please show n prove it that the 'many things' that Jesus didnt told those day, was written in the bible.
