over 15yrs ago when my husband presented me with a monogram leather handbag, the brand name was LV.
i almost cried when i found out it cost him almost ￡500 to buy tt handbag. it was such great loss to me cos, with ￡500 it cud cover our whole monthly groceries perhaps with some extra for us to have lunch or dinner somewhere. but since it was my husband gift to me, i just swallow the huge lump in my throat n let it be. back then LV although was famous, it was only affordable by the really rich n famous. i guess my husband saved for a long times before buying me this handbag.
now u can see anyone everyone has an LV be it imitations or originals. my last LV was a damier neverfull tt i bought 2 weeks after it launching when i was in london, may 2009.
now i buy clutches n dinner bags cos of functions i attend. they are cheaper n fashionable! the many LV's tt i have will be handed over to my daughter if she wanted it.
