What you see above is a special Ford Focus RS that is being rolledout to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ford’s RS division, whichstarted with the 1970 Ford Escort RS1600. What makes this modeldifferent is the fact that it was “co-designed” by Swiss fans via anonline channel.
The end result is an RS that is finished in “Frozen White” alongwith contrasting black and green liveries. It sits on 19-inch OZSuperturismo GT alloys that are treated to a black finish. To help makeit more unique, the RS WRC Edition also has a special plaque thatcarries signatures of Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen, Ford’s WRCdrivers.
The upgrades are aesthetics only hence it retains the 300hp forceinducted 2.5 liter 5-cylinder that enables the hot hatch to hit 100km/h under 6 seconds and a top speed of 263 km/h. Only 50 units areplanned for the Swiss market and each costs 55,900 francs. Look for animage gallery after the jump which also includes some designs thatnearly made the cut.
