Saturday December 4, 2010Auto firms luring buyers with special promotions

KUALA LUMPUR: Automotive companies are offering special promotions during the 10-day Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2010 exhibition.

Peugeot is giving a five-year or 100,000km warranty for its 207 sedan model.

Buyers are also given lower interest rates from 1.4% to 2.55% for its 407 and 308 VTI models.

Nasim Sdn Bhd Peugeot branch manager Ted Su said there was good response for the 207 model.

Hyundai is offering a free iPhone 4 to buyers of the SantaFe and i10 models during the show. Head of marketing Kelvin Chuah said the promotion was for a limited time.

Chevrolet cars buyers would get free leather seats, global positioning system and window tint for the Captiva and Cruze series.

There was a large crowd at the exhibition halls. Among them was Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Idris ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the Chevrolet limited edition Camaro or popularly known as Bumblebee in the blockbuster movieTransformers.

Sales consultant Wan Hizman Nubli Mat Hizam said there were only 10 units of the left-hand drive Camaro in the country manufactured with theTransformers logo on the exterior and interior of the car.

It costs RM508,999 each on the road.

“Even though a special licence will be required for the car as it is a left-hand drive, I’m sure it will be sold out fast as it is such a desirable car,” he said, adding that a crown prince had placed an order for one.

KLIM 2010 is on until Dec 12 and features new concept and show cars, green technology, booths selling vehicle accessories and novelty attractions.

Visitors to the motor show will also be able to check their traffic summons status and settle existing summonses at the booth set up by the Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) in exhibition hall 2 of the Putra World Trade Centre.

Dalam byk2 awek KLIMS...aku paling suka kat awek hyundai sorang nih...bile lens kamera aku hala kat dia..terus dia berposing utk aku....gaya dia tenung aku cam nak telan aku jek...grrrrrrrr.....


Awek isuzu lak mmg menampilkan ciri2 keselamatan kenderaan isuzu....dual airbag yg montoks

Yang nih lak kalo tak silap aku kat kaunter mitsubishi motors....aku nampak dia duk sorang2 kat kaunter tuh...aku pegi dekat dia...aku cakap kat dia...meh aku amik gambar nko...kesian kat nko takde org nak amik gambar nko....

Demikian sahajalah liputan aku kat KLIMS 2010 nih....pada pendapat aku yg selalu duk attend KLIMS nih...tahun nih aku rase tak puas hati sbb tak byk model baharu yg dipamerkan dan susunan tapak pameran agak huru hara....pastuh aku hangin tul...derang cas RM15 semata2 utk bergambar dgn batmobile yg diperbuat drpd polesterin dan kadbod....dkt poster kemain lagi duk tunjuk gambar batmobile real tapi kat situh...nampak cam mesin kukur kelapa pun ada...kesian kat bebudak duk beratur pjg semata2 nak amik gambar dgn batmobile tiruan tuh...

Cam haram jek...batmobile camtuh hanya layak duk kat ruang legar supermarket mydin mall jek...bukannye kat motorshow camtuh....ada batman punye motorsikal tuh...dia punye ekzos patah...aku pegi tgk closeup...polesterin muahahhaa...baik toksah tayang ler..buat malu jek...
