Critics suggest the logo lacks the creative punch expected from a country rich in artistry, hinting at a missed chance for showcasing homegrown skills.

A comparison of the ‘PADU’ logo with an abstract ‘A’ the netizen found on a logo selling platform suggests the design was not bespoke.

Priced at $99, the similarity raises questions about the originality and effort invested in the logo meant to symbolize a significant national database.

A user made a sarcastic remark about the logo looking like a quick copy-and-paste job, joking that it was probably done to save money.



One user lamented that the design made the logo even less attractive, comparing it to something more fitting for a school club

Apa pun aku respek acik2 gomen yang terlibat dengan projek ini. 100% tak pakai vendor katanya. Logo tu amik font microsoft ja pun aku OK tak payah nak gempaq sangat. Nak minta UiTM design pun ko ingat free ka.

Copy ke beli? Kan situ tulis $99.  Students pun bukan derang create derang pun beli gak.  Lepas tu gomen kena buat lak design competition, kurang2 rm3k ke 5k pemenang ketiga yg no. 1 rm50k.  Membazir biar lah acik2 gomen pakcik2 rtm yg design, paling kuat pun beehoon goreng dgn karipap nak brainstorm.  Logo tu pun entah pakai sekali dua je tahun depan dah lupa.
