VIXX Revealed to Be the Next Idol Group for ′One Fine Day′
VIXX will be greeting fans through a reality program.
On December 2, MBC Music staff told Newsen, "VIXX has confirmed for the reality program, One Fine Day and is currently filming it."
"The goal of the broadcasting date is January or February of 2015, the winter vacation season. However, we′re trying to film things in advance before the weather gets too cold."
Ahead of VIXX, SHINee, B1A4, Ailee&Amber have shown their daily lives on the program.
VIXX recently held successful concerts for the 2014 VIXX US Showcase in Chicago on November 22 and New York on Nvember 23. The group returned to Korea on November 24.
VIXX to Return in February with Remake Song
VIXX is making a February comeback.
On January 27, VIXX′s agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, told Newsen, "VIXX is currently preparing to make a comeback with February as the goal. We′ll be remaking a dance song and releasing it as a digital single."
VIXX plans on revealing a bright image geared more towards the public instead of its normally conceptual image full of charisma in February.
With the comeback, VIXX will be returning after four months since it released its mini album Error in October 2014. With Infinite H having returned and EXO also preparing to make a comeback, VIXX will be joining the fierce competition, raising anticipation.
VIXX to Launch Second Solo Concert ‘Utopia’ in March
VIXX will be launching its second solo concert.
On January 28, Jellyfish Entertainment, VIXX’s agency, announced, “VIXX will be holding VIXX Live Fantasia ‘Utopia’ over two days, on March 28 and 29, at Olympic Gymnastics Arena,” and posted details regarding the ticket sales.
The concert’s title ‘Utopia’ signifies the ideal world that doesn’t exist in reality, signifying VIXX’s determination to show one-of-a-kind performances with a new concept.
VIXX has previously caught attention by showing shocking concepts and fantastic visuals that no others have tried before and won five trophies from music programs with Error released in 2014. The group recently met with overseas fans in China, Hong Kong, Japan and more, proving its popularity as the next hallyu-dol.
During its first solo concert VIXX Live Fantasia ‘Hex Sign’, VIXX presented fantasy themed stages with their various charms, from sexy and powerful to soft and cheerful, showing its progress of going from being idols to artists.
The upcoming ‘Utopia’ concert has also been announced to present some of VIXX’s best ever performances, foreshadowing a round of ticketing war to take place.
Meanwhile, VIXX’s second solo concert VIXX Live Fantasia ‘Utopia’ will begin selling tickets on February 5 at 8 p.m. (KST) through Auction Ticket (ticket.auction.co.kr).
VIXX's remake of 'Love Equation' contains R.ef's original wonderful melody and carries the exiting points. On top of this, the song has been reinterpreted into VIXX's unique color and was arranged into the current trendy style. The rebirth of VIXX's 'Love Equation' music video was directed by 'Lumpens', who is famous for his polished sentimental interpretation.
