Scary Riddle - My Husband
--
When I got home, the front door was open. I
guess my husband is back from work.
I can hear something from the bedroom
upstairs. He’s been really busy with work
recently, so he must be sleeping. I’d feel bad if
I woke him up, so I started to prepare dinner.
Once everything was ready, I called my
husband down for dinner.
There was no reply.
After yelling several times, I finally heard him
come downstairs.
That’s when my phone rang.

Scary Riddle - Her Father and the Letter

Me, Yuuki, and Azu have been friends since we
were little. Our parents were also close, so we
would hang out with each other.

When we were in our second year of middle
school, Azu’s mother died in a traffic accident.
He and his grandfather cried a lot. After a
while, Azu moved into his house.
About a year later, Azu sent me and Yuuki a
letter.

To (me) and Yuuki,

Please don’t get mad that it’s been a while.

I’m doing well, but as far as getting used to
living here, I could use some help…

Being a bit nostalgic, but remember the secret
base? The three of us could fit in it, and the
cat! We named it Lock, and it was so small.
Remember all of the bugs the cat killed?

By the way, sorry it’s been a while since I’ve
gotten a hold of you two. I’ll write later, but I
need to go help my Dad.

PS: Oh, I wrote this letter with my Dad. We
want to see you again!

looked at me with a doubtful face and asked
me to show it to him again.
I handed it over to him, and he read it
intently. “This is bad…” he said. I reread it and
understood.
We told our parents immediately and hurried
to where Azu was.

Scary Riddle - Knocking
--
I was on a business trip with a coworker. We
stayed at the same hotel, so we stayed up
talking for a while. He kept trying to freak me
out by telling me that the place was haunted
and that something was going to come for me
in the night. Admittedly, I got kind of scared
and when I went to bed I made sure to cover
myself as much as possible. You know how it
is.

Just as I expected, I heard someone knocking
at my door in the middle of the night. I
thought it might be a hotel employee, so I
called out to see who it was. Nobody
answered, though. I was scared even looking
at the door, and the knocking continued all
night long.

As soon as the sun started to
come up, the knocking stopped. I got dressed
and hurried out of the room. I checked out
without even eating breakfast because I didn’t
want to be anywhere near the place.

After the business trip ended and I went back
home, I told my coworker about the knocking.
He smugly said that he knew it would happen
because a while back, there had been a fire at
the hotel. Most people made it out, but there
were a few that had been stuck inside. Those
people ended up being stuck in their rooms
and died slowly from burns and smoke
inhalation. It’s their spirits that appear at the
hotel now.

Damn. Hearing that made me glad that I
didn’t open the door. I wonder what would
have happened if I had?

Scary Riddle - Snuff Video
--
You ever hear of what they call snuff videos?
Well I’ve seen one. Some guy I know from a
bar showed it to me.

He invited me to some house way up in the
mountains. I guess he didn’t want anybody to
find out he had the video. I showed up at the
place first, and he was 30 minutes late. When
he showed up, he was apologetic.

“Sorry about that, my middle child was sick,”
he laughed for a few seconds before popping
the video in the VCR.
It was awful. I never saw anything so bad
before. I felt bad for even coming to see the
damned thing.

The girl… she was Japanese. She must have
only been about ten years old. And there she
was, being killed right there in front of a
camera.

I couldn’t watch all of it.
“Don’t you have kids?!” I screamed at the guy.
“Yea, I have two. What about it?” he said.

Scary Riddle - A Dead Body
--
I was watching the news when suddenly my
friend’s house came on the screen. I sat up
straight, waiting to hear what had happened.
Apparently a girl’s body had been found in
one of the walls.

I immediately called my friend to see what
was going on, but he had moved a while ago
and wasn’t living there anymore.

“Yea, well, anyway… I guess they found a body
in the wall of your old place,” I explained.
“What?” he sounded scared. “No way!”
“The new owner was remodeling when he
found it.”

“Shit… That’s scary…” Judging by his voice,
my friend was taking it pretty seriously.

“Isn’t it? I mean, who the fuck kills somebody
and then buries the body in their wall?” How
many times had I been to his house? I was
freaking myself out thinking about it.

“I feel bad for the girl, but I never noticed
anything while I lived there…”


“Yea, I guess you’re right,” I admitted, never
having heard anything strange from him.

“That’s the scary thing,” he said in a far off
voice. “I have chills just thinking about it…”
I had to agree. Thinking of the possibility of
there being a body hidden in my house set me
on edge. It’s like a physical blow, in a way. I
bet this will stick with my friend for a while…

Scary Riddle - Older Sister
--
I believe in the paranormal.
When I was a little girl, I used to talk to an
older girl I called sister. We used to wear the
same dirty clothes, and we lived together.
But one day, I just couldn’t see her anymore.
My mom and dad won the lottery. We had
been really poor, and I was told that I just
made up my sister because I didn’t have any
other friends.
I’m happy now. But the lottery money is
running out.

Scary Riddle - Missing Man

In the area I live, it’s pretty common for little
children or the elderly to wander off and get
lost. When that happens, the city hall will
blast an announcement.

"A -- year old man has been missing since
earlier today. He was wearing…"
And when the person is found, another
announcement will be made.
"The man who was missing earlier is now
safe."

Every winter you can expect to hear these
announcements several times. Even this
morning there was a notification that a 67
year old man wearing black clothes went
missing. It’s cold out, but I guess he just
wanted to go for a walk.

Later in the day, the follow up announcement
was made.
"The man who was missing earlier has been
found."

Scary Riddle - Who....?
--
Well, I guess it’s time for me to get going.
I just noticed it’s already past noon.
Shit… I haven’t even washed my face yet.
I don’t really want to, but I should…. Blah.
I turn the water on at the sink and splash it
on my face.
I take some face wash and spread it all over.
As I massage it into my skin, it begins to
lather.
The water gurgling down the drain echoes in
the bathroom.

Maybe I turned the faucet too far… Well, I
better rinse the soap off.
I reach my hands out and search for the
stream of water coming out of the faucet.
Huh? Where is it? I keep groping around, but I
can’t find the water.
I open my eyes and endure the stinging of the
soap as I search for the faucet.
The faucet… The faucet… Where is it?

Oh, there it is.
I turn the knob, and the water comes
streaming out.
I rinse my face off… Finally all of the soap
comes off.
I wipe my face off with a towel to dry myself
off.

Man… I’m too scared to look in the mirror.
I haven’t even shaved my beard,
but I’m going to make a run for it while I still
can.

1. My name is Joshua, I have a girlfriend who
is obsessed of me. She texts me everyday
saying "Where are you honey, I love you!" or
"Who are you with. Stay safe!" She checks my
bedroom and she even put a tracking device
on my cell. She's driving me NUTS. Her name
is Stephanie, same as my mother's name. One
night, I came home drunk. She was furious at
me for getting drunk, and coming home very
late (2am).

We argued and fought for almost
an hour till' I got so full and pushed Stephanie
in the balcony. She fell to her death. I hid the
body, and buried it. Next morning, I received a
text. To my surprise, it was Stephanie! She
said "Good morning my love! Have a great
day! =) =*"

Can you answer this riddle?

2. I have two wonderful twin daughters. Tate
and Lisa. They cooked our meals, and always
gave my wife, Andy, a different meal from
ours. I don't know why, but I think because
she's special to them cause' Andy was their
mother.

One day, Andy became ill. The doctor
did not know what sickness was it. She often
vomited. But a month later, she passed away.
I did not understand why... because Andy was
very healthy and rarely became ill. To this day,
her death is shrouded in mystery.

Can you solve this riddle?

3. We just heard this haunted place from my
friend, Bella. It was a forest that was said to
be haunted. We were thrill seekers so we went
there at night. We were a group of 4. When we
got there we waited for nearly 4 hrs to see if
there are any ghosts. We decided to split up
into 2.

Me and Bella searched the forest for
any paranormal happenings, turns out they
were none. We went back to the camp and
saw the other 3 members of the group. They
said that they didn't find anything as well. So
I think we just wasted atleast one night for
nothing.

Do you know the definition of stalker? “A
person who harasses another person, in a
stealthily manner.” Straight out of the
dictionary. I am not sure if the definition
applies to Bob. Bobby Jenskin, my neighbor.
He is an odd one. He stares at me every time
he has the chance. It freaks me out. The fact
he’s not even trying to hide it is what makes
me uncomfortable.

Every night when I take out
the garbage, he’s on the same spot, near the
window. He stares through the windows of his
house, directly into my eyes. I’ve thought
about moving away from this place. But at the
moment it’s just not convenient. And is it
really a valid reason? No, I’m not leaving
because of Bob, even if he’s a stalker. I
should approach him tommorow, and have a
talk with him. Now I think about it. I’ve never
seen him leave his house recently. What
happened?

Bob wasn’t always like this. We’ve
never been really close, but I did invite him
over a couple of times. He’s the average
neighbor. The kind of guy who is just there.
The kind of guy who has nothing special, but
still fits in every situation. The definition of
stalker doesn’t fit him. I don’t like the new
Bob. The new Bob intimidates me. I turn on
the TV on the news channel. The reporter is
talking about corpses that has been found.
Wait a minute… The bodies are found nearby! I
have a bad feeling about this. The next night,
when I was taking out the garbage, Bob was
there again.

Answer definition of stalker
The definition of stalker definitely applies to
Bobby Jenskin. I guess you are all wondering
why Bob turned from the average neighbor, to
a stalker. Straight to the point this time. Bob
knew the main character was killing people
nearby. When the main character takes out
the garbage, he’s actually trying to get rid of
the body. So why didn’t he call the police? I
have no clue.

Hit and run accident

I got involved in a hit and run accident by a
driver, and I had to stay at the hospital for a 2
months. When I got out, a good friend of mine
came over to hang out.
“Sorry I couldn’t come by to you in the
hospital.”
“Not a problem.”
“What happened exactly?”
“Just an accident. A hit and run.”
“Did you see who did it?”
“It was all too fast and sudden, so I don’t
remember so much.”
“Ah, I see.”
“You should be careful too”
“Yeah, I will, thanks. Anyway, it’s getting late,
I’m heading home. Next time I’ll visit you.”
“Alright, thanks.”

Answer hit and run accident
So what is going on here? It’s a short story,
try to read it one more time if you haven’t
done so. What is the chance of getting in a hit
and run accident anyway? And two months in
the hospital, looks like someone is trying to
kill him. No but seriously, the solution lies in
the second last sentence of the story. Get it,
GET IT? The friend states that he will visit him
next time, implying there will be a next time.
The friend was the driver in the accident. A
lesson for you guys, be careful who you decide
the trust. Do you know the saying girlfriends
stab you in the heart and friends stab you in
the back? Well it’s true, but sometimes
instead of stabbing they prefer to run you
over. I almost ran my friend over once, not on
purpose though, I swear. I am just no good at
driving. But I can’t really stand him. He’s an
asshole, always brags, and he slept with my
girlfriend when I was on vacation. Ok, he is not
my friend, but I still didn’t run him over.

Wishing well

One night, when I was small, my sister’s crying
was annoying me so I killed her with a knife
and threw her into a wishing well.

The next day the body disappeared.
Six years later, I had a fight with my best
friend over something stupid, and I strangled
him. I threw his body in the same well. The
next day it was gone.
Nine years later, I got a chick pregnant by
mistake when we were drunk. I poisoned her
and threw her body in the well. The next day it
was gone.

Sixteen years later, I had this boss who was
an asshole. I murdered him and threw him in
the well. The next day, his body vanished
without a trace.

Twenty years later, my mom was getting old
and could not take care of herself anymore.
She needed to be put in a nursing home for
the elderly. I didn’t want to pay the money so
I killed her and threw her body in the wishing
well.

The next day, the body was still there. The
wishing well didn’t work anymore.

Answer wishing well
This one is one of my favorites. I love wishing
wells. But I throw coins into them instead of
bodies. And they never seem to work. But for
this guy it worked a great amount of time.
Maybe I should try changing my strategy?
Anyway, the question here is: why did the
magic wishing well stopped working at the
end of the story? The last body he threw in
was his mom’s. And I can tell you, nothing is
more magical than the love your mom
provides you. Not even the wishing well in this
scary story. Mommy was the one who got rid
of all the bodies the storyteller killed.

Hidden treasure

An old man once asked me, “Want to play a
game? The rules are simple. I’ve got a bunch
of boxes, there are hidden treasures in a few
of these. The boxes are strong and heavy. Way
too heavy to open it with your bare hands.
But you are allowed to use everything you
want to open them.

And you can take as much
time as you want. If you find a hidden
treasure, it’s all yours.” At that time I thought
I was the luckiest person on earth. There is
basically no way I will lose. Worst case
scenario, I spend a night opening boxes. But
the treasures hidden in the boxes will be mine
for sure.

“By the way, as you see, there are tons of
boxes. But if you give me $100, you can start
right next to a hidden treasure.”That gives me
even more advantage! So I am guaranteed to
have one of the treasures. This man is a fool. I
take out my wallet and give the old guy $100.

The game starts.
The treasure is in front of me.
Right in front of my eyes.
I wish I had never participated in this game.

Answer hidden treasure
If it’s too good to be true, then it 99 of the
100 cases, it is! No one is giving treasures
away for free. Treasures hidden inside some
boxes? This boy should have known better.
The boy in the story is the fool of the story.
And the old man? He has a strange hobby. He
played this game many times before. He
places the victims next to a hidden treasure,
inside the box. And he earned $100 as well.
Kill two birds with one stone. I wonder what
happens if someone decide not to accept the
$100 deal. Will the man just let him open the
boxes with dead bodies inside?
