Untuk yg pernah tinggal di Oz, security deposit ni perkara biasa. Dia akan refund baki selepas dia check ada benda rosak ke dak ataupun perlu cuci apartment tu lebih dari normal. Kalau dia tak refund boleh report kat stayz. Pasal byr sewa biasanya full pmt dua minggu sebelum check in tapi bergantung dgn owner jugak.

Tak.... Saya pernah tinggal di Perth selama 5 tahun zaman student dulu. Dari buat year 12 (matriculation) sampai habis degree. Jumpa my wife pun di Perth jadi ada banyak kenangan nostalgia kat sini. Sejak 2006 berjaya sambut Hari Raya 2-3 tahun sekali di Perth... Tu pun bila ada rezeki lebih la... Jadi agak familiar dgn Perth & Australia in general.

Assalam semua, I baru balik dr Perth slps seminggu kat sana (11-16/10). It was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. And with immediate effect, terhapus suda kata2 orang yang mengatakan Perth tak best. Well, in fact I also had the same notion (I was comparing Perth to Melbourne).
For a first timer to Perth, my humble opinion is, boleh jalan2 / explore sendiri naik bus and trains which is sooo easy. At one point of time, just take 1 bus / a route and boleh cover 2,3 places on our own. See my itinerary below and hope can be useful to other forummers yang nak bercuti to Perth anytime soon. 
Day 1 - we didn't eat our pre-booked meal which was chicken sandwich, so we brought it over together with other food / canned items sardines, tuna, maggi, sambal paste etc.) yang memang nak declare and unfortunately our sandwich tu je kena rampas. That's okay, takde rezeki. Keluar2 airport terus ambik shuttle bus to T3 (jgn salah naik bus yg for long term parking ya). Jauh jgk dr T1 to T3 about 10mins drive. Turun2 kt T3, we took the Airport Connect Shuttle bus (it was a coach / van) for AUD15 which the kind driver dropped us off at Perth Central Station. We then paid AUD4.50 for train to Fremantle (about 20mins journey). Sampai kt Fremantle Station, we walked to Fremantle Hostel (backpacker's), Pakenham St. Alhamdulillah, the double room was ready for us to check in early. Then after refreshed, went to E-Shed to bought some souvenirs / gozlemes for lunch and also Fremantle market.
Day 2 - We've explored Freo town - actually shopping dulu kt Cotton On, Priceline pharmacy (went crazy on their perfumes / cosmetics / supplements), Target (baju / kasut murah2) and Coles supermarket. Then later, took the Blue CAT free shuttle bus to stop no.17 Fishing Boat Harbour to lunch fish & chips at Cicerellos. Tk sempat nak riki2 Kaili's..sbb dh lapo . Then later, we walked to Esplanade Park..dok lepak2, guling2, posing2 sakan kt sana. The view was awesome, the trees, the clear blue skies altho' it was sunny. Then head back to the same bus stop to return to hostel.
Day 3 - Checked out and returned to Perth city. Keluar2 station, terus masuk Myers kt Forrest Place. Kt bwh tu ada Visitor Information Centre where we asked for direction and map. We walked for few seconds je kt simpang William St. and Murray St. tu mmg tersergam our hotel, Comfort Inn, Wentworth Plaza. Dr luar nmpk hotel lama colonial style (built in 1928). Alhamdulillah, we got to checked in early, put our bags and head out. Btw, we also booked the double room - dpt kt hujung sekali so dekat toilet and bathrooms (got passcode to enter) Kt simpang tu jgk ada ISPA Kebabs, where we spent AUD16.95 for chicken kebab, fries and drink for lunch. No need to convert ya sbb dh lapo. Heheh. Sambil duduk and makan, dapat cuci2 mata - all the shopping centres are strategically located there i.e. Target (again), Myers, David Jones, Woolsworth etc.

Day 4 - We head out to Wellingtown St. (belakang hotel Comfort Inn je) and walked a bit to bus stop no. 16 Perth Arena. Took the Yellow Cat and dropped off at no.17 Sutherland St. (1 stesen jeer..heheh) to Watertown Brand Outlet (or formerly known as Harbourtown). Not much to see or shop, so we took early lunch at Nenem's for another gozleme and kebabs. After solat (near management office), we crossed over and walked a bit (take note to those planning to stay at City Stay Apartment, mmg seberang je dr Watertown ni) to take the Red Cat pulak utk nak pergi ke Kings Park & Botanical Garden. Dh turun kena cross over and jalan sket lah nak masuk park ni. It was indeed a breathtaking view of Perth CBD and after much lepak2, guling2 and posing sakan session, we head to the bus station to take bus no. 37 - this one also free!. Initial plan was to alight somewhere near Perth CBD (near London Court, St Georges Terrace St), but ntah macam mana sebab tak confident kot nak turun mana, we continued to stay in the bus.. Tgk2 map rupanya we already heading to East Perth, masuk residential areas. We managed to keep calm (katanye) and dr jauh nampak Belmont Forum (where Coles, Woolsworth & K-Mart is), so we turunlah and crossed. Masuk2 dlm mall tu, yet another shopping spree began.  . Dlm mall ni ada food court yg ada 2 kedai serves halal food, Indian and Turkish (where we ate another kebab for early dinner - takut nak balik city lambat). Haha. Then we head out to take the same bus no. 37 and kali ni betul2 tgk map and jalan utk turun kt St. Georges Terrace St. and ikut short cut via London Court utk tembus Hay St. Mall dan returned to hotel. Easy peasy ya?
Day 5 - We head out to Perth Central Station and turun kt Bassendean (AUD4.50). Took bus. no 956 (AUD3) to alight at Whiteman Park. Crossed over, used the intercom for shuttle service to take us to Caversham Wildlife Park and paid AUD27. Excited sungguh dpt meet up close and personal with all the animals... Koala masa tu sgt active, siap turun pokok and dtg kt sorang2, we were advised to step back. Eric the wombat tido je masa sesi fotografi, kanggaroos byk lepak sbb ramai sgt feed depa kot.. Heheh. Kt sini ada small cafe where kalau lapo can buy the pastries which is halal. Then, we took the shuttle service to drop us at the entrance, took the same bus to Bassendean station and returned to Perth City. Lepas turun, kami gi area Northbridge, tengok2 museum, library, art centre and walked to James St. sebab kami nak pi makan churros and minum hot chocolate kt Chocolateria San Churro. Beli churros for 2 dpt 2 dipping sauce (dark choco & spanish caramel) and their spanish hot chocolate tu sgt pekat melikat (take the sugar free option). Then, jalan kaki to the nearest CAT bus station to return to hotel.
Day 6 - our final day in Perth. Check out time was 10am, so we managed to do some last minute shopping kt area tu and sempat lagi naik CAT bus to pusing2 area situ. Since baggage dh makin berat and beranak pinak, we opted to take taxi (already standby kt luar hotel) to the airport and paid AUD45 (metre) to the driver. OK lah tu, lebih kurang harga sama if we take the train to East Perth station for Airport Connect Shuttle bus.
Overall, I had good times in Perth. Alhamdulillah, all plan went well and smoothly, except I noticed ada lalat! yeah, kat luar tgh jalan2 tu, ada je lalat dok swarming around our faces. Perhaps it was just us (mungkin masa baru sampai tu belum mandi lah katakan).. Haha.
Orang2 kat sana sangat2lah friendly, baik and very accomodating. I never had such similar experience in Melbourne. In Perth, they would greet us "Hi", "How are you?", "Yes, darling?".. masa nak naik bus tu pun, the driver siap cakap "Would you like to come in?", as if mcm nak jemput masuk rumah. Orang2 yang naik bus, bila nak turun, siap cakap / jerit "Thank you" to the driver.
So, if people asks if I would return to Perth again, I'd say "Yes".  |

Agree...went there last year, first trip and terus jatuh cinta dgn perth.... i mmg tak suka yg riuh rendah, yg byk clubs or bising bising so perth mmg suits with my jiwa yg dah tua ni...he..he

comfort inn yg i stayed in Perth tu mmg kt bwhnya ada bars.. tpi tkdela bising, org mabuk2 ke apa.. when we stayed in the room (malam dh tak keluar), takdelah dgr bising2 kt luar tu..
aduhaaii...teringat forummers mana yg ckp nk migrate terus ke Perth.. Time2 jerebu makin teruk ni, dok teringat2 their clear blue skies, fresh and cold air..

Perth is a nice place. Rasa nak visit lagi sebab nak chill2 indoors (motip??) watch tv and cook for my family. Aritu tak sempat nak rileks. Org lain travel nak tgk luar. Tetiba aku nak gi main masak2 pulak. Ekkekekkek |
