Mali Diserang Pengganas, 170 Ditawan, Lebih 20 Maut

Sebuah hotel mewah di ibu negara Mali, Bamako telah diserang oleh sekumpulan 10 lelaki bersenjata, pada pagi Jumaat.
Kumpulan tersebut melepaskan tembakan rambang sambil melaungkan 'Allahu Akbar" dan menawan kira-kira 170 orang.
Identiti kumpulan bersenjata itu walau bagaimanapun masih belum diketahui.
Pertempuran telah berlaku apabila pihak keselamatan menyerbu hotel Radisson Blu itu. Kebanyakan tebusan adalah merupakan warga asing dan sehingga kini dilaporkan angka kematian meningkat ke-27 orang.
Namun, selepas sembilan jam pertempuan, kesemua baki tebusan telah berjaya dibebaskan.
Mali merupakan tanah bekas jajahan Perancis dan wilayah utara negara itu dikuasai pengganas yang mempunyai kaitan dengan al-Qaeda sejak 2012. - CARI Infonet
