Spain is getting closer to its 700,000 Muslims community, 15,000 Morisco descendent reverted back to Islam, after being s crypto Muslims for 500 years and again a new mosque was build  in our jewel of Europe - Granada. But this moron Al Qaeda destroyed the recognition and support given by Spaniards to their 700,000 minority Muslims!

MADRID - Spanish authorities have arrested five men and are analysing a video tape claiming that last week's massive train bombings in Madrid were the work of the Al-Qaeda terror network.

The tape, recovered by police from a rubbish bin near a Madrid mosque after a call was made to a television station, said the blasts were meant to punish Spain for supporting the United States-led war against Iraq.

'We claim responsibility for what happened in Madrid exactly two and a half years after the attacks in New York and Washington,' a man speaking Arabic with a Moroccan accent says on the tape.

'It is a response to your collaboration with the criminal Bush and his allies.'

A transcript of the tape was released by the Interior Ministry. The tape, yet to be verified, warns of worse to come than last week's attack which left 200 dead and 1,500 injured.

'This is how to respond to the crimes you have caused in the world and specifically in Iraq and Afghanistan and there will be more, God willing. If you don't stop your injustices, there will be more and more threats.

'These attacks are small compared with what will happen with what you call terrorism. This is a warning from the military spokesman of Al-Qaeda in Europe, Abu Duham al Afgani.'

Interior Minister Angel Acebes said five suspects - three Moroccans and two Indians - had been arrested under anti-terrorist laws after a mobile phone was found inside a bag packed with explosives on one of the four bombed rush-hour trains.

Time and again, there are instances of great violence and political assassinations. Who benefits? There are NO answers. Certainly not from the Aristocracies and the Crowned Heads of Europe.

The European aristocracies, without their own written Constitutions and Bills of Rights, opposed those who fled to the New World and there established an organic charter, the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights. The aristocrats included the Crowned Monarchs which, of course, included the Pope in the Vatican. Their governance was/is founded on arbitrary might-makes-right power and ruling by supposed "Divine Right". Does anyone remember? Up to about 1870, what is now called "Italy" were the Papal States, ruled by theocracy with its own military force, Caesar and Heaven, joined at the hip.
  
These emperors, to restore and preserve their power, find it necessary to have now launched a new Crusade, again, against the supposed "infidels", the Moslem World. Who remembers? The past Crusades ended up a disaster for Europe, causing the Eastern World to organize under Saledin, a Kurd.

Whatsoever, Aznar lost the election! The opposition should thanks the bombers then, huh?

Whitepig & LostSoul has a point there. The discovery of the alleged Qaeda tape is too convenient. Just like they found Mohammad Atta's passport intact amidst the rubble of WTC and despite the blackbox being completely melted. And also the flight manual found in a car parked in a parking lot. As if that is not enough, they found Atta's alleged suicide note in his locker. Also in the Bali bombing, police also found the alleged bomber's passport, intact! All this is too convenient. The timing is also convenient - just when Aznar require public support for his Iraq involvement and public solidarity for his re-election.

Instead of public solidarity behind him, the Spaniards are demanding no cover-ups. I guess this tactic backfires Aznar. U can fool everyone some of the time, but U can't fool them all the time.

The election which was supposed to be held yesterday (Sunday) is now deferred another week. A week is long enough for cover-ups.
