Kim Jong Kook a dutiful son who learn english because of his mother.

Kim Jong Kook ranks 7th on 11th April's episode of 'Descendants of Perfection- Stars who are the ultimate finishers of touching tales' and Kim Jong Kook comes in 7th.

In the past, Kim Jong Kook did Taekwondo and wrestling during his middle school days. He was known as 'Kim Ax' in Anyang and his parents had to go to school because of him being naughty.

However, Kim Jong Kook changed for the better. His close friends and colleagues started to praise him often.

Kim Jong Kook did mention before that he started exercise initially because of his appearance, but then later on he exercises while focusing on health. He also mentioned that while having a unique voice, he prefers to practise singing comfortably, thus being a singer who does not smoke or drinks.

Kim Jong Kook also gave all his money to his parents and even now, he gets his allowance money from there. He was seen at game arcades with his mother and brings her along when he has overseas schedules.

Kim Jong Kook mentioned that when he released Turbo's 3rd album, his mother had breast cancer. His mother did not tell Kim Jong Kook and he mentioned he cried a lot back then. After that, he started to treat his mother better.

Kim Jong Kook also studied English for his mother because he couldn't order food for his mother when they are in overseas back then (due to language barrier).

From self-management to filial piety, Kim Jong Kook has it all. Not only that, in 2006, he did flood relief discovery work with 100 fans. In 2014, he had a concert in Taiwan where he sold his own things and the profits were donated to underpriviledged children. He also donated 50 million won to the Sewol tragedy.

Kim Jong Kook said," If there are people who wants me there, no matter where I wish to go there and sing. Through broadcasts, I wish to be closer to people, and I will work towards that." Like Kim Jong Kook's song, he is really lovely from head to toe! Kim Jong Kook comes in 7th in this list.

KJK And TURBO Reunite For 20th Anniversary Album ''AGAIN''

A legendary Korean hip-hop group reunited to celebrate their twentieth anniversary.

Turbo, made up of "Running Man" star Kim Jong Kook, Mikey, and Kim Jung Nam, came back on Dec. 21 with their song "Again."

Fifteen years since their last release, the group returned with a chart topping album on Monday.

The group's comeback album "Again" contains 19 songs, and features multiple guest artists.

"Again" topped multiple Korean music charts following its release on Dec. 21.

Turbo returns after 15 years as trio, tops charts!!

The once hugely popular 1990s electropop duo Turbo has made its much-awaited return to the spotlight after 15 years -- only this time around, Turbo has returned as a trio.

KJK is known for his loyalty in the entertainment industry. You can see that from him since he coming back as Turbo for their 20th anniversary with two other members. People say Kim Jong Kook’s “Kook” is from the word “Jin Kook”. (Kook=Sounds the same as 'Soup' in Korean). *Jin Kook means thick broth, which is implying that KJK is the real deal, not a person with fake persona.

If this is the case, what do KJK’s acquaintances say about him? We asked personally.

First person who gave us a response is Im Hyung Taek PD who has seen KJK since the XMan days. He complimented him about his professionalism as well as his self-control.

KJK is very professional about what he does. His self-control is as good as Yoo Jae Suk's. Many people including myself gets very surprised about how strict he is on himself and how he manages people around him. He is very loyal and gets very attached. He is a very compassionate person and his heart is bigger than most people."

Then what do the staffs that spent long time with loyal KJK say about him? We asked his very close acquaintances: manager, stylist, marketing specialist, and etc. When we asked, they responded humorously by saying that they want to answer honestly so asked for anonymous name.

“When people describe a nice person, KJK fits that description almost perfectly. He is very kind, humane, compassionate, and has a great personality. He is also very loyal, but he is little controlling. Haha.” –KJK’s staff A
