Where on earth is PINK?

Cuba selesaikan masalah ini.

Perhatikan visible spectrum berikut:



Jalur ini mewakili sebahagian dari electromagnetic spectrum, dari frekuensi rendah ke tinggi (kiri ke kanan). Invisible spectrum, yakni gelombang di luar julat pandangan mata manusia, seperti infrared terdapat di luar hujung kiri, dan ultraviolet di luar hujung kanan.

Kalaulah ini je visible spectrum yang mata kita boleh nampak, mano poei PINK?

Purple ada dkat hujung sebelah kanan, right before masuk ke ultraviolet region.

Tapi still takde PINK!!!

warna tu kan campuran warna2 asas....
secara dasarnya pink tu tak dpt derive dari spektrum warna di atas,

mungkin ko boleh rujuk kepada warna yg biasa ada dlm komputer
campuran warna yg dihasilkan dlm komputer lebih byk,

Indeed. The more question we ask, the more we eventually get to the answer.

Hint: Forget pink. Where on earth is WHITE?!!

We get white when all those colours combine, ie. when EM waves at all frequencies throughout the spectrum construct an interference. Similar can be said about pink.

Observe the spectrum again. Yellow is an intermediate colour between Red and Green (and R + G = Y), and Cyan is intermediate colour between Green and Blue (and that G + B = C). If we curl up the spectrum into a circle, where Red and Blue are adjacent, we get Pink (or magenta) in between.

The resulting EM wave shall no longer be clean/smooth sinusoidal, but a weird-looking waveform only our eyes can detect, as pink.

Same goes to white. It's not on the spectrum, but we see it anyway when our eyes receive all components of the spectrum at once!
