1 - RVP should at starting lineup ... chamakh is great player .. tetapi bebanan sbgi debutant di Anfield amat sukar & apatah sbgi lone striker ..
2 - asharvin... komitmen beliau utk asnel sejak musim lalu mmg jd pertikaian... beliau nmpk 'malas' .. adakah kerana tax di Great Britain terlalu tgi hingga dikatakan hampir 50% dari gajinya?? atau pun mimpi basah beliau ke Barcelona x diambil port oleh player catalan yg lain .
3 - King Ebobo.. klu lah aku wenger mlm td, aku takkan benarkan beliau memegang bola lebih dari 3 saat ..
4 - Nasri.. Central Midfield role is to much for him.. smalam mcm dia men posisi DM sekali .. Diaby selalu perasan dia striker .. |

Liverpool
Pepe Reina - 4
Had had a great game until he decided to calmly palm the ball into his own net. Inexplicable error from a normally outstanding keeper.
Jamie Carragher - 7
Solid as usual but didn't have too much to deal with given the excellent form Martin Skrtel and Javier Mascherano were in.
Martin Skrtel - 8
Unbeatable. Stuck to Marouane Chamakh like glue and ensured the debutant would have a game to forget.
Daniel Agger - 5
Was not much of a threat from left-back and looked uncomfortable at times but played on manfully despite being hit flush on the face midway through the second-half.
Glen Johnson - 6.5
Was a handful on the right flank - teasing Gael Clichy and running through the Arsenal defence more than once. Supported Ngog well up front.
Javier Mascherano (off 78') - 7
He might be desperate to leave Anfield, but that didn't stop the Argentinean from giving his all on the day. Was the main reason why Arsenal's first-half possession came to nothing.
Steven Gerrard - 7
Played in a deeper role before Joe Cole was sent off. Still tested the Gunners defence with some probing long balls. Excellent as usual in helping out defensively.
Milan Jovanovic (off 65')- 6
Looks a bull of a man and plays like one too. Took on and brushed aside Bacary Sagna with sheer strength. His decision-making was questionable at times though. Needs to stay calmer.
Dirk Kuyt - 5
Largely peripheral.
Joe Cole - 2
The only impact he had on the game was when he lunged in on Laurent Koscielny and was promptly sent-off. Horrific Anfield debut.
David Ngog (off 74') - 7.5
Had a superb game - constantly testing the organisation of Arsenal's defence with his attempts to get in behind the back-line. Continued his rich goal-scoring form with a stunning strike. Finally, Liverpool might have two strikers instead of one and a half.
Subs
Maxi Rodriguez (on 65') - 6
Allowed Liverpool to soak up late Arsenal pressure and it looked like Reds would come out with all three points until Reina's blunder.
Fernando Torres (on 74') - n.a
Lucas (on 78') - n.a
Arsenal
Manuel Almunia - 4
Poor generally, but redeemed himself somewhat with a decent save off a Steven Gerrard free-kick in extra-time. Should have saved David Ngog's shot at his near-post. Make no mistake - Arsenal still need another keeper.
Thomas Vermaelen - 6
Could have done a bit better when Ngog scored, but didn't do too much wrong otherwise. Combined well with Koscielny to keep Liverpool's offence at bay.
Laurent Koscielny - 7
Fans will be encouraged by the defender's Premier League debut. Was excellent in the air and crucially, made sure Almunia was not exposed to those aerial balls that he is so apt to drop. Could develop a solid partnership with Vermaelen. Really unfortunate to be sent off.
Gael Clichy - 6.5
Liverpool had identified him as the weak defensive link and tried to catch him out with long diagonal balls. Kudos to the Frenchman for not getting caught out. Had a few problems with Glen Johnson though, when the right-back came forward.
Bacary Sagna - 6
Served as a good outlet on the right and pumped in some useful first time crosses. Defensively struggled to cope with the power of Jovanovic and will be thankful the Serb didn't see too much of the ball in the second half.
Jack Wilshere (off 60') - 4
The youngster was a disappointment - especially with his first touches. Lost the ball too often in midfield with poor control. Needs more time to settle in the side.
Emmanuel Eboue (off 60') - 5
Started off brightly but as Liverpool tightened the midfield, he simply went MIA. Drifted in far too often when Arsenal would have been better served with more width.
Abou Diaby (off 76') - 4
Suffered from the old failing of holding on too long to the ball and trying to do everything himself. Someone needs to tell him football is a passing game.
Andrey Arshavin - 3
Looked short of match-fitness and struggled to have an impact on the game. Was crowded out in midfield and his dribbling skills let him down on the day.
Samir Nasri - 6
Played in the position Cesc Fabregas usually occupies and was at the heart of almost every Arsenal attack. Liverpool held their lines well though and Nasri was forced to switch the ball out wide more often than not.
Marouane Chamakh - 3.5
Struggled to cope with Liverpool's close marking. Rarely got the ball without someone kicking his heels or barging into him. Needs to adapt quickly to the physicality of the Premier League.
Subs
Theo Walcott (on 60') - 6
Combined well with Tomas Rosicky and Arsenal certainly looked more likely to score when he came on.
Tomas Rosicky (on 60') - 7.5
Made a huge difference to the game - moving forward with pace and bringing urgency to an Arsenal side that seemed to be flagging.
