It is still weeks away from the official CBS cast
announcement for “Survivor: Palau”, but already the
names of nineteen of the twenty castaways have been released on Survivor News’ Contestant Confirmator. Like usual, Internet fans of the show have been learning more than just the identities of the newest castaways. The most recently guessed name at Survivor News’ is Gregg Carey, a 27 year-old business consultant from Ashland, Massachusetts, now living in Chicago.
Those who knew Gregg describe him as a “normal, well rounded” guy, but are not surprised that he made it onto the show. Gregg has always been athletic, playing football and baseball at Ashland High School in Massachusetts, and competing in an adventure race three years ago.
“[He is a] G-R-E-A-T guy (and cute too)...love him,” said someone who knew Gregg from his days at University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Friars Senior Society, Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Engineering Peer Advising Council, and did volunteer work for both Habitat for Humanity and the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project.
“He definitely fits a certain mold ‘Survivor’ people look for,” said someone else who knows him, who expects him to play the game with honesty and integrity, but not overlook the big picture (the million dollars). “When the show is over, I think people will look at Gregg much like his friends do; honest, funny, and generally a good guy.”
Mr. Carey returned home from his adventure of a lifetime on December 11, and managed to re-gain all the weight he had lost in 9 days [by December 20]. There is no doubt that the smart and funny Carey will be loved by America, but will he be loved by his tribe? survivor adalah satu2nya sebab aku nonton ntv7..kalau tak sori la,...muak ngan iklan tak bekesudahan.
kalau sebelum siri IX, waktu tayangan tak penah tetap, ikut suka kepala hotak dorang saja nak tayang pukui brp....tp, lega skot dlm siri IX ni selain awal jam 10.10, takda yg sengaja dilewatkan.
tp satu yg aku tak puas hati, aku x nengok pun ending...ada kuar tv ka? yg aku tau, sampai ami kuar sj...next friday, kansel due to tech, problem..
next tuesday, aku nengok paper, kata ada finale malam tu...tp dek tayang tiger cup, abih lambat..lansung takda...then hari jumaat dlm paper kata ada reunion,...tp haram takda...nampaknya kesialan ntv7 ni payah nak dibuang...
tp aku pun ada sikit muak ngan survivor, tambah2 sejak ada apprentice...letih da nengok org hidup style zaman prasejarah... |

Semalam ada tunjuk sikit - Pulau ni dkt Philippine (err lanun tak colek ker dia orang ni?)
Ada 3 orang lawyer and as usual ada gay man, fireman etc. Perserta wanita ada yang tindik hidung mcm lembu, rambut merah & bertatoo. Lelaki straight badan mcm model - 6 pack!
Macam biasa gay man bagi komen yang dia akan jadi the out-smart guy .. yalah tu 
Dkt sini iklan tak banyak - sekali break ada 5 iklan - kadang kadang bila time out, iklan pon kena potong setengah jalan. |

"Survivor: Palau" Cast Revealed

Cue the catchy theme chant--Jeff Probst's latest band of fame-and-fortune-seeking castaways are ready to try their hands at outwitting, outplaying and outlasting.
A Vegas showgirl, a hairstylist and a personal trainer are among the contestants who will be battling it out for a million bucks in the upcoming Survivor: Palau, due to premiere Feb. 17 on CBS.
Filmed on an island in the South Pacific, season 10 of the reality series promises to mix it up from the start with a cluster of Survivor-befuddling plot twists, per producer Mark Burnett.
"You have this situation now where everyone thinks they know more about the rules and format than we do," Burnett told Daily Variety. "I wanted to see what happens by completely revamping the way of starting [the show]."
Instead of the usual 16 castaways, Survivor: Palau will pit 20 would-be millionaires against one another. However, by the end of episode one, only 17 will remain.
"They're given very little instruction about what to do, and some of them are genuinely lost," Burnett told Variety. "Two people don't make it to the first challenge. That's how tough it is. It's very emotional."
Palau's castaways are a younger bunch than in seasons past, with 11 contestants under 30. Willard Smith, a lawyer from Bellevue, Washington, is the oldest at 57; 21-year-old Jeff Wilson, the aforementioned personal trainer of Ventura, California, is the baby of the group.
Other contestants include Ian Rosenberger, 23, a dolphin trainer, who "enjoys being outside," and Stephanie LaGrossa, 25, a pharmaceutical rep, who "likes going to the beach," according to their bios.
There's also token eye-candy for all. Graduate student Kimberly Mullen, 25, represented Ohio in the 2002 Miss USA Pageant and has worked as a model. Waiter Bobby Jon Drinkard, 27, was voted Alabama's Most Eligible Bachelor in 2003 by Cosmopolitan magazine and is currently pursuing a modeling career. (Bring on the swimsuit shots.)
The castaways' new island home was the site of plenty of World War II action and remains littered with wreckage. Most of the island is covered by dense tropical forests and inhabited by creatures such as skinks, wormsnakes and geckos.
The waters around the island are considered a diver's paradise and are home to saltwater crocodiles, sharks, barracuda, octopi, lionfish and giant clams that can weigh up to two tons.
Survivor has been reupped for an 11th and 12th season; however, Burnett said last month's tsunami changed plans for upcoming show locations.
"We were scouting locations in Madagascar, southern India, Sri Lanka. We had a real focus on the Indian Ocean," he told Variety. "Clearly, now, that won't be happening."
