Four Die at Valencia FC Stadium
Four building workers were killed in an accident at Valencia soccer club抯 new stadium.
They died after their scaffolding collapsed and threw them more than 25 feet to the ground.
The four were working on the Spanish first-division club抯 new Mestalla stadium.
They included two Spaniards, an Ecuadorian and a Bolivian.
The Stadium named the newMestalla will have an approximate capacity of 75,000 seats and is to beinaugurated in 2010. The Stadium is said to be costing the club awhopping 300 million euros.
This Mishap will surely cause a minor if not major setback.

Germany's Hildebrand vows to fight for spot
The Germany international Timo Hildebrand has vowed to stay and fight for his future at Valencia, despite the double whammy of being overlooked for Euro 2008 and being told his club are searching for a new keeper.
The 29-year-old is still reeling from being left out of his country's squad for this summer's European Championships, but is determined to prove himself at the Mestalla.
He told Bild: "I have been number one at Valencia for the last six months and I will now work even harder to remain number one.
"I will also push for a place in the national team again. I have no fear whatsoever." Hildebrand joined Los Che last summer from VfB Stuttgart and went on to play 27 times last season. |
